Oliver Rist at PC Magazine has taken the Wi-Spy 2.4x for a spin and thinks that "overall, the Wi-Spy 2.4x spectrum analyzer is an excellent buy for $400. Competing enterprise-level products from AirMagnet, Fluke, and others cost thousands more, and while they're more adept at managing large wireless deployments, the Wi-Spy combo is a better fit for SMBs."
