Wi-Fi signals typically take a distinct form due to direct-sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) which is represented in Chanalyzer's topographic view.  Chanalyzer 3.1 includes several signature outlines of typical Wi-Fi devices. Our tool Inssider, is excellent for determining which Wi-Fi channels, but it does not show anything but that. This is where Wi-Spy will help most people.  Wi-Spy FAQ
