Here, we have a
wifi lower band very crowded : at the time of the recording, my laptop
mini-pci card (an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG) found seven (7) APs on
the channel 1, and one (1) AP on channels 3, 4 and 5 (all ten (10)
channels are G type). The reason of such a concentration : the
mystery interference centered arround channel 9 that makes the use of
channels 7 to 11 imposible (AP cannot be reached or connexion are lost
very frequently).

 

The recording is made with the stock omnidirectional antenna and take place in South of France near Marseille.

I will try to "triangulate" the source of interference with directional antenna later, watch for .
