The newer clamshells and the SL-6000 have usb host. I've gotten the
wispy tools from kismetwireless.net to run on my Z. It's not pretty,
I'm still figuring out how to get it to work on a 640X480 screen, but
it does run.
I can't comment on Software availability (yet) but the Wi-Spy that I
have is definitely recognised as a USB HID by my PDA when it is has USB
Host mode enabled. The bad news is that USB Host mode isn't all that
common yet - the PDA that I tested is a pre-release of a new WM5 Smart
Phone that includes it.

So any further plans to develop a pda version (windows mobile) of Chanalyzer or are there any 3rd party versions/ports that work with pda's with built in usb host or with a usb host adaptor from Ratoc or Lightcone/Twin Paradox?
I've seen pictures of Spectools running on a Nokia n800 with a Wi-Spy attached. That may be something to look into. We are currently not developing something for PDA's, but that doesn't mean it is not in the big picture of things.

Yep, like helvick said most PDAs do not support USB host mode yet, so
we haven't taken the time to develop software for any PDAs yet.

I would also like to know the answer do this. As far as I know though no one has developed a program for a PDA or Pocket PC.
