Duty cycle?

Guys,

I did a trace on a network today & after a while noticed that channel 1 is pretty well shot, i looked at the duty cycle & noted it was between 4 &5 is that high or low as I cannot work that out.

Hi Ian,

That number is relatively low. I've seen it as high as 72. The next Chanalyzer 3 update will have a much improved version of the duty cycle, and I think it will make a little more sense.

Thanks it went upto 25 late yesterday & I was getting a bit concerned.

Someone once said to me that using 3 ssids cripples the duty cycle is that right?

Using more access points on a single channel will definitely increase the calculated duty cycle. There are too many variables to say it will cripple the duty cycle.
